England will seek to end their decade of hurt Down Under when they face Australia for the 2025 Women’s Ashes series.

Australia will be hoping to retain the Ashes this year – live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

Both teams produced enthralling and memorable performances in 2023 in England, where Australia came away victorious despite the series ending in an 8-8 draw on points.

Australia have not suffered defeat in an Ashes series since 2014, and England have only managed two series wins in seven attempts since the competition switched to a points system in 2013.

When does the Women’s Ashes series start?

The Women’s Ashes series gets underway on January 11 at the North Sydney Oval in New South Wales, Australia.

The multi-format series will finish on February 2 at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground.

There will be three one-day internationals, three T20 internationals and a one-off, four-day Test match which will be a day-nighter at the MCG.

How does the points system work?

Teams will earn two points for a win in the white-ball matches (one-day and T20 internationals) or share a point apiece in the event of a washout.

Four points will be awarded to the winners of the Test match, with teams earning two points each with a draw or tie.
