Luxury watch and jewellery storage brand Wolf is adding to an already busy June with the announcement of a second senior appointment, Umair Baig becoming its Senior Sales Director, UK & Europe.
With over 15 years’ retail-heavy experience in the watch and jewellery industry, Baig has been Retail Brand Director at Swatch Group UK, after starting his career as a weekend sales associate in his local jewellers.
Most recently Baig has spent five years in a senior position in the UK for luxury watch brand Omega, managing a team including territory key account managers, training teams and retail operations managers “placing an emphasis on relationships and partnerships to achieve common goals”.
“He joins us in our 190th anniversary year with lots of exciting opportunities on the horizon for the brand,” CEO Simon Wolf said.
Last week, the company also announced the appointment of Christopher Strange as its Sales Director for UK & Ireland.
Earlier this month Wolf also opened its first ever pop-up store in London’s Covent Garden with the retailer taking over a 945 sq ft space on Neal Street, part of the popular Shaftesbury Capital-operated Seven Dials neighbourhood.
