With the Summer holidays coming to an end, it’s the perfect time to start making plans for your next trip away!

We’ve got 10 breaks up for grabs. From coast to countryside, north to south, English Heritage holiday cottages give you the chance to enjoy a break in the heart of some of the country’s most remarkable locations.

With unique stories and settings, each cottage opens a window to the past and makes a great base for a memorable holiday; a romantic getaway in a 13th century medieval tower, a family break on the Cornish coast or a family reunion in the gardens of a ruined mansion. Experience staying at one of their sites and you’ll have exclusive out-of-hours grounds access during your stay. You’ll also be able to visit other English Heritage sites for free throughout your stay as a holiday guest, as well as receiving a welcome hamper on arrival and 10% discount in our shops, cafes, and tearooms.

The lucky winners can choose from a 3-night weekend stay (Friday – Monday), or a 4-night mid-week stay (Monday-Friday). You can take the break between November 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 (excluding Christmas and New Year 20 December 2024 – 02 January 2025).
