As the fashion world gears up for the SS25 edition of London Fashion Week – that marks the event’s 40th anniversary, and commences tonight – there’s one event in particular that’s sending a frisson of excitement through the city. For the first time ever, eBay will be joining the likes of Burberry, JW Anderson and 16Arlington on the official schedule and hosting its own pre-loved fashion show. But the best part? You’ll be able to shop the collection straight from the catwalk.
Taking place this evening (Thursday September 12) in a secret London location and simultaneously streaming on eBay Live from 6pm, the ‘Endless Runway’ show will be hosted by model Leomie Anderson and showcase star pieces by British designers from the eBay archives.

‘This is the first time a pre-loved show has been on the schedule at London Fashion Week, so it’s a huge moment,’ eBay’s pre-loved style director, Amy Bannerman, told ELLE UK. ‘The concept is really about making incredible fashion accessible to all, so no matter where you are in the world, who you are or what your budget is, you can be a part of it. I’ve curated 15 looks for the show, and as each one comes out, you’ll be able to click to buy it instantly.’
ELLE UK was invited behind the scenes for a sneak preview of the collection, and let’s just say that there will be some serious online tussling once these fashion treasures go on sale…
We’re talking impossible-to-find vintage McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Kane, Simone Rocha and the sold-out Wales Bonner x Adidas collab to boot. Bannerman made sure to include a number of smaller-ticket items, too: ‘The concept of eBay is that you can find anything, so I didn’t want it to be all super-luxury and elitist. It’s a real mish-mash.’ Prices range from £24 to £1,000.
Those who miss out on the pieces featured in the show – or simply can’t resist the allure of cut-price designer gems – will also be able to shop curated edits of pre-loved British fashion on eBay, with new pieces dropping each day during London Fashion Week. Expect items from designers who have made a mark on the industry over the past 40 years, such as Simone Rocha, Stella McCartney and Paul Smith, all hand-picked by Bannerman and her team. See you at the checkout.
