Italy conclude their preparations for Euro 2024 by playing host to Bosnia and Herzegovina in an international friendly on Sunday.
Set to defend their continental title in Germany, where they will feature in an eighth consecutive European Championship finals, Italy are ultimately intent on repeating an unexpected 2021 triumph at Wembley.
However, the Azzurri stuttered to a 0-0 draw at home to Turkey in the first of two warmup matches. The hosts will now be put through their paces for the final time ahead of travelling to Germany, just six days before they kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Albania.
On the other hand, Bosnia’s wait for their first Euros appearance as an independent nation will continue as they failed to make the most of their playoff golden ticket after finishing second-from-bottom in Group J.
They did put up a solid fight in their 3-0 friendly defeat to England at St. James’ Park on June 3.
The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch it across the world, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

Ahead of Sunday’s game, Italy boss Luciano Spalletti finalised his 26-man roster for the upcoming Euros. The former Napoli boss has cut three players from his provisional squad — Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini, Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci and Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel.
Nicolo Fagioli has been named in the final squad despite only recently returning from a seven-month ban for breaking gambling rules. He came off the bench to earn his second international cap in the draw with Turkey and could come in from the start here.
In-form striker Gianluca Scamacca did not take part against Turkey following his involvement in Atalanta’s long-delayed final league fixture of the season against Fiorentina. He could replace a misfiring Mateo Retegui upfront here.
Italy predicted XI (3-4-2-1, right to left): Vicario — Di Lorenzo, Mancini, Bastoni — Cambiaso, Cristante, Fagioli, Dimarco — Orsolini, Pellegrini — Scamacca

Despite being huge underdogs, Bosnia looked defensively solid in their 3-0 loss to England, with a couple of late goals bumping up the scoreline for the Three Lions.
They are likely play a full-strength XI on Sunday, with only experienced defenders Ermin Bicakcic (ankle) and Sead Kolasinac sidelined due to respective injury concerns.
There is still a place in the ranks for captain Edin Dzeko, the all-time leading appearance maker and record scorer for his nation. After remaining as an unused sub last time out, the 38-year-old looks set to earn his cap number 135 for the national team on Sunday.
Bosnia and Herzegovina predicted XI (3-4-1-2, right to left): Vasilj (GK) — Ahmedhodzic, Hadzikadunic, Mujakic — Gazibegovic, Saric, Tahirovic, Omerovic — Hajradinovic — Demirovic, Dzeko.
Bosnia and Herzegovina subs (9): TBC

Italy haven’t fully convinced of late — particularly in attack. However, the Azzurri will be keen to get back the winning feeling before they head to Germany, and should have enough firepower to see off Bosnia comfortably in the end.
Prediction: Italy 2-0 Bosnia and Herzegovina
