Managing director of VitrA UK Steve Breen will leave the company, having led the business since July 2022.
Breen will now step into the role of CEO of Julian Bowen Furniture.
During his tenure, he introduced the Vitality retail programme, saw the brand return to Kbb Birmingham for the first time in 30 years’, and unveil a 100% recycled ceramic basin.
Breen succeeded Levant Giray, who first introduced the Turkish bathroom brand to the UK and having worked for the company for years returned to lead the UK business.
Prior to his role, Breen was general manager for Caterpillar construction plant deadline Finning UK and Ireland, and before that was sales director of Ideal Standard.
Commenting on LinkedIn, Steve Breen stated: “Today marks a significant change for me as I work my last day for VitrA Bathrooms.
“It’s been an absolute honour to lead VitrA UK since July 2022, in what has been a dynamic period for the business.
“Highlights are too many to mention, but they include working with world class teams in the UK, Turkey and globally.
“The UK team has introduced new initiatives like our Vitality retail partner programme, progressed our channel diversity and launched some fantastic new products, including the industry leading 100% Recycled Wash Basin.
“I’ve loved every minute with VitrA and would like to thank all of my friends at Eczacıbaşı Building Products Group and especially the UK team who have been outstanding professionals and friends throughout my time at VitrA.
“This month marks a new chapter in my leadership journey, and a new direction for me. I look forward to stepping into my role as CEO of Julian Bowen Furniture and leading the company to future success.”
