French eco-friendly sneaker brand Veja has appointed Anthony Bunn as Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Anthony Bunn, who previously worked for the Royer Group and VF Corp, takes over from Artaud Frenoy, who becomes Sales Director for Asia.
Anthony Bunn began his career in 1994 as Sales Manager for Timberland. After a spell with Italian food group Ferrero and then optical specialist L’Amy Group, he joined Quiksilver‘s technical division in 2003 as sales director for Europe and the Middle East.
In 2009, he joined the American group VF Corp, where he stayed for eight years, notably as Director for France, Spain and Portugal for the Timberland brand. In 2017, Anthony Bunn joined French footwear specialist Royer as managing director of the junior fashion and retail division. Since 2020, Anthony Bunn had been working as an independent consultant for SMEs.
Founded in 2005 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, the Veja brand, which has its trainers produced in Brazil and recently opened a production unit in Portugal, has eight shops in France, Germany, the United States and Spain. It is also present in nearly 3,000 retail outlets. Veja is aiming for sales of €180 million by 2022, with over 4 million pairs of shoes sold worldwide.
