British online fashion retailer Boohoo said on Friday it was willing to offer its largest shareholder Frasers one board seat if it put forward an “appropriate candidate” other than current nominees Mike Ashley and Mike Lennon.
The latest development in the open spat between the two retailers comes after Frasers said on Thursday its two nominees for the board of Boohoo would sign up to all protocols to address any governance concerns, if they were to be elected.
Earlier this week, Boohoo had asked shareholders to vote against all the resolutions at the general meeting scheduled on December 20.
