So where are the UK’s best fish and chip restaurants?
A Tripadvisor reviewer who visited Harbour Lights in Falmouth wrote: “Superb! Perfect fish and chips, great staff and very pleasant surroundings.”
Meanwhile, a visitor to The Magpie Cafe in Whitby said: “Visited for the first time and we were blown away! The food and service were spot on.”
People who visited the Maltings Fish and Chips in Hertfordshire praised the restaurant’s pensioners deal.
A separate rating by the team at Hertz found that Yorkshire has the highest number of top-rated fish and chips outlets with North Cornwall in second place.
South Devon, Kent and Dorset were also top-rated while Scarborough was named the best seaside town for fish and chips.
