The UK Armed Forces men’s football team have secured an important win over the French Armed Forces at the 2024 Kentish Cup.
A tense battle against the French swung UKAF’s way after a goal from captain Danny Kerr in the second half.
The 1-0 win means UKAF will retain their Kentish Cup by avoiding defeat against the Dutch Armed Forces on Friday in a match you can watch live – find out more here.
The French, who beat the Dutch 5-0 on Monday, went closest in the first half when Anthony Robin hit the post from a tight angle.
