talkSPORT’s Simon Jordan discussed the potential positives and negatives of appointing Thomas Tuchel earlier today.
Tuchel, who is now the frontrunner for the England job, won the Champions League at Chelsea, the Bundesliga at Bayern and Ligue 1 with PSG.
However, his dismissal from all of those jobs was somewhat controversial and Jordan has dared the FA to appoint and deal with his strong personality.
Speaking on White and Jordan this afternoon, he said: “I want a winner who can conduct themselves in perpetuity and can reflect in the way they manage the team.
“It’s a balancing act, I thought Tuchel was brilliant when he first came into Chelsea, but I think the outcomes of his departure were perfectly legitimate.
“And he’s found himself in similar situations at Bayern and PSG. If the common denominator is you, there has to be a problem.
“Now whether that can be curbed or the person learns their lessons and translates it onto the international stage…”
He continued: “We’ve seen a manager come into England with a big reputation and to some extent, Sven put the FA into difficult situations at times.
“I’m talking about the similarities between them and personalities.
“But I would like the FA to enlighten Thomas Tuchel because I think they’d have their hands full.
“It will keep them at it and on their toes and I dare them to employ him.”
