The US state of Wisconsin has committed to the UK market by appointing its first representation agency. Cellet Marketing & Public Relations Ltd will focus on driving increased visitation to the mid-western state by raising its profile amongst the travel trade and the consumer.
As part of the Great Lakes USA region, Wisconsin is well known for being the home of Harley-Davidson and the Green Bay Packers, world renowned golf courses including Whistling Straits, the Frank Lloyd Wright Trail and Kohler, home to the five-diamond American Club resort.
Wisconsin is easily accessible from the UK via Chicago O’Hare airport, with over 10 flights a day from London to Chicago plus flights from UK regional airports. Chicago is just over an hour’s drive from the dynamic city of Milwaukee.
Travel Wisconsin Director of Communications, Craig Trost, comments: “As Travel Wisconsin expands our efforts to promote Wisconsin on the international stage, we are delighted to be working with Cellet as our official UK representatives.
“Wisconsin offers something for every traveller, from outdoor adventures to family activities to road trips. We are also a ‘foodie’ state, famous for our cheese and fish boils, the largest producer of cranberries in the world and a must-visit for anyone who loves culinary experiences.”
