Research found flying on Tuesdays and Wednesdays offers the best prices. When experts looked at some of the most popular destinations you could see hundreds of pounds in savings by taking advantage of a Tuesday or Wednesday flight.
A colossal saving of up to £580 can be made when booking to fly on Tuesday or Wednesday.
This is according to Netflights who analysed flights to popular destinations throughout June, July and August.
When they compare midweek with other departure days, huge savings of up to £580 can be made when flying to Mauritius in August.
Meanwhile, those looking to fly to Australia in June could save up to £324 by choosing a flight on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
