Travel at London Victoria station has been hit by disruption after a points failure, causing delays and cancellations.

Passengers travelling on Gatwick Express, Southern and Thameslink services should brace for longer journeys than usual and use alternative routes.

It comes after all lines between Haywards Heath, Brighton and Lewes have been blocked because of the points issue.

Unfortunately for those heading to work or Gatwick Airport, the issue is not expected to be resolved until 10am.

Meanwhile, all the Tube strikes have been called off following a successful pay deal between the drivers’ union Aslef and TfL.

The Underground network was set to be crippled on Thursday and Tuesday before they reached an agreement yesterday.
