This seems like an interesting strategy from Pope and the coaching staff. Georgia was the much more physical team on Tuesday, which heavily played into the free throw differential.
But it seems like Pope and the coaches aren’t content with just complaining about the officiating and want to learn more about why certain calls were made and others weren’t.
I don’t know how many more games we’ll see that were officiated like the one Tuesday night, but hopefully this helps Kentucky moving forward.
