THG Ingenuity is continuing to grow its top management to “spearhead growth”. The latest to join is Richard Aldiss who takes up the position of senior vice-president of its THG Studios division.
His appointment will see the division of the recently de-merged Ingenuity business “build on its growth in 2024”, which saw the agency craft campaigns for major brands including Asda and Disney, along with the launch of its AI-driven studio, iLab.
Aldiss brings over 30 years’ experience in advertising, alongside a “proven track record in business development and driving agency growth”. Having previously held positions as managing director at McCann, Manchester and chair of the Insitute of Practitioners in Advertising in England and Wales, he currently sits on the board of the Manchester Publicity Association “championing the digital, creative and media industries”.
Hannah Pym, chief brand & marketing officer, THG Ingenuity, said: “His experience and leadership across advertising and businesses development, alongside his fervour for the industry, align perfectly with our commitment to supercharge brand growth for our clients and our long-term vision for THG Studios.”
Aldiss added: “The THG Studios team have achieved so much, it’s jaw-dropping. The ambition and potential for our clients, our people and the business is huge and I look forward to applying my experience, energy and passion as we enter an exciting new chapter of growth and transformation.”
In December, THG Studios widened its partnership with Creative Force, the platform for artificial intelligence (AI)-driven e-commerce content production management to “revolutionise e-commerce content production”.
Operating from one of the biggest state-of-the-art creative studios in Europe, with over 135,000 sq ft of creative space, THG Studios “has the in-house production facilities and talent to deliver projects at scale, backed by THG Ingenuity’s proprietary tech, data and user-research”.
Earlier this month, THG expanded Beauty division CEO Lucy Gorman’s remit to include to control of its THG Nutrition business. The Beauty division also announced three major promotions to its leadership team.
