Storm Darragh causes travel warning for Jersey islanders

Before the storm, islanders were advised to secure or bring indoors any loose items on their property.
The BBC also understand that the Jersey Football League has been suspended for the weekend.
To report routes blocked by fallen trees in Jersey, people were urged to contact Infrastructure and Environment Operations and Transport on 01534 445509 for main routes, and the duty centenier for parish roads.
A red wind warning is in place from 03:00 to 11:00 GMT on Saturday, covering western and southern coastal regions of Wales as well as the Bristol Channel in England.
Yellow wind warnings are in place for swathes of the UK on Friday, with amber warnings covering Northern Ireland, Wales and the west coast of England on Saturday morning.
