Footwear and apparel brand Steve Madden has teamed up with Trashie to introduce a new recycling program.
As part of the partnership, Steve Madden customers can now purchase Trashie’s Take Back Bag for $20 on the Steve Madden website, fill it with old clothes and shoes, and send it to Trashie’s recycling facility using a pre-paid shipping label. In return, participants will receive a $25 discount on their next Steve Madden online purchase.

Trashie’s innovative platform aligns perfectly with this vision, allowing us to offer our customers an opportunity to responsibly and easily give new life to their used fashion and footwear. Trashie ensures that up to 95% of collected items are kept out of landfills. Each item is categorized into one of 253 grades based on quality, size, and material, ensuring it finds its next best use, whether through reuse, downcycling, or fiber-to-fiber recycling.
