Sellier is launching a charity-inspired festive campaign. The luxury resale platform is donating some of its most coveted and requested designer handbags, including a Hermes Birkin, across London’s charity shops throughout December, “to help drive footfall and sales in the stores that need it most”.
The message is simple. Sellier “wants to raise awareness around the importance of our local charity shops, as well as the wider message of buying secondhand at Christmas. Not only does this benefit local charities, but it also boosts the circular economy and enables customers to save money on Christmas shopping at a challenging economic time”.
The campaign will take the form of its Luxury Treasure Hunt “allowing consumers to get their hands on some of luxury’s most coveted designer handbags, at a fraction of the usual resale costs”.
Brands such as Hermès, Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton are being discounted by up to 70% off the retail price.
It has selected a range of London charity shops to donate some of the reseller’s most desired luxury items, including a Chanel Classic Flap, Hermès Birkin and Chanel Medallion.
The brand will be teasing the secret drop locations on its socials via TikTok and Instagram throughout December.
It will begin once it drops its first styles on 3 December, with the rest following throughout the remainder of the month, with further details on @sellierluxurybags on TikTok.
