British menswear label Pretty Green’s about to celebrate its 15th winter with a collection dedicated not only to the brand’s longevity but also its lasting love of paisley.
It arrives reimagining a paisley design “with a fresh perspective” as part of Winter 2024. And we’re told the wider collection “boldly fuses heritage and modernity, capturing the essence of Pretty Green’s past whil[e] stepping confidently into the future”.
The ‘Anniversary Paisley’ blends nostalgia from the vintage print/design that marked the debut collection with a contemporary vision and features across a range of items, including a jacket, a parka, logo tees and polos through to accessories.
As ‘Live Forever’ has been Pretty Green’s tagline for the past eight years, it continues to capture the brand’s “enduring passion for music, culture, and the brand’s rebellious spirit”.
These can even be found in the finer details, from jacket strings to shirt embroidery. Celebrating the heritage, the latest collection, “is a classic terrace-inspired capsule” featuring badge and logo T-shirts, jackets, overshirts and bobble hats.
Cold weather outwear for Winter 2024 includes longline puffers such as the ‘Mountfield Quilted Parka’, the ‘Watson Parka’, which has a faux-fur lined hood and tonal paisley lining and the ‘Nomad Parka’, a lighter but water-resistant version.
Standout knitwear pieces this season include the ‘Supernova Cardigan’, a wool blend featuring a mono paisley jacquard, ‘Berwick Cable Knit Polos’ with classic cable knit detailing, and a lighter full-button through ‘Roxy Knit Shirt’.
