Petit Bateau continues to expand its offerings. After launching into cosmetics, the French childrenswear brand is now venturing into eyewear. The label has signed a licensing agreement with Seaport ODLM for the design, development, and global distribution of eyeglasses and sunglasses collections for children.
The first eyewear collections are set to launch in spring 2025, expanding Seaport ODLM’s established portfolio of children’s eyewear brands, which includes Little Paul & Joe and Façonnable for boys.
Founded in Troyes, France, in 1893, Petit Bateau is recognised as a Living Heritage Company (EPV) for its craftsmanship and legacy. The brand has a presence in 55 countries, with 370 retail locations and its own e-commerce platform.
Seaport ODLM, for its part, continues to expand its brand portfolio. After partnering with cosmetics label Nuxe last year, the company recently announced a collaboration with Mauboussin. Starting in June, Seaport will oversee eyewear distribution for the renowned jewellery brand, further cementing its position as a leader in the premium eyewear market.
