Oxford United have completed the signing of forward Ole Romeny from Dutch top-flight club Utrecht in what is believed to be a club-record deal.
Romeny, 24, has reportedly agreed a three-and-a-half year contract to move to the Kassam Stadium for an undisclosed fee.
He played 13 games in the Eredivisie this season, scoring two goals for a team who are third in the league.
Dutch-born, he represented the Netherlands at under-20 level, but he is eligible to play for Indonesia through his maternal grandmother.
“I have had very good conversations with the club, and I know they are extremely ambitious, and I believe the plans they have in place will really suit me,” Romeny told the club’s website, external.
