A BRAND new channel is launching on TVs across the UK today that will bring millions a big dose of nostalgia.
Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media and Freely viewers are all in line to receive the new channel, which debuted on 1 July.
‘That’s Memories’ – from the ‘That’s TV’ broadcasting hub – is giving viewers a one-stop-shop for throwback shows and historical documentaries.
The channel will air true crime series exploring the Prohibition era in Atlantic City to documentaries on London’s history.
It will also feature documentaries on figures such as Elvis and Frank Sinatra.
A placeholder for the new channel went live earlier this month, but it only began airing content today.
‘That’s Memories’ is on Freeview channel 71.
Virgin Media customers can find it on channel 296.
Freely viewers can watch the station on channel 42.
While Sky customers can go to channel 365 to watch.
‘That’s Memories’ replaces That’s 60s on Sky’s channel guide.
The new channel addition comes alongside a wider shake-up to Sky’s programme.
