Comedian Neil Delamere has announced a new stand-up show for Belfast this year.
The Offaly funnyman will take to the stage of Belfast’s SSE Arena on February 15, 2025.
Tickets on sale this Friday (June 28) at 10am from ticketmaster.ie and www.ssearenabelfast.com.
The gig – ‘Achilles Neil – will see the Irish comic take on life’s absurdities in his own inimitable way; “a celebration of the altogether too frequent weaknesses that make us human.”
Described by The Herald newspaper as being “one lean, mean, comedy, killing machine”, Delamere is a regular on BBC NI’s ‘The Blame Game’ and has become a popular familiar face for Northern Irish audiences.
He is currently travelling Ireland with his tour, ‘Neil By Mouth – a play on the 1997 drama film ‘Nil By Mouth’ – which he performed in Belfast in February of this year too.

Delamere is also a longtime friend of Tim McGarry’s, and a regular wind-up between the pair is the Dublin-based comedian’s mission to make up daft claims about him and see if he can get them published on Wikipedia.
He said: “Do you mean north Belfast’s foremost undiscovered serial killer, that Tim McGarry? The whole weird squirrel pelt collection that he keeps under the stairs, once that broke, I think all his secrets came out.
“I’m very fond of that man, I have to say. He’s a great dude for several reasons. He’s a lightning rod when we’re out in Belfast. People just go ‘Da’. It’s like hanging around with Boris Johnson — roughly the same amount of people shout ‘Da’ at Boris Johnson as Tim McGarry.
“He’s really famous and really tall, so people chat to him and we can wander off, but he’s a very clued-in individual.
“I’d never compliment him to his face, mainly because I’d only reach up to his shoulder.”
