Canadian luxury outerwear brand Moose Knuckles announced on Tuesday the launch of ‘Moose Lab’, a new platform for creative collaborations designed to reinterpret the brand’s heritage with technical and fashion outerwear.
The inaugural 12-piece collection was designed by Moose Knuckles’ global artistic director, Carlos Nazario, and spans both outerwear and accessories.
The capsule reimagines the brand’s iconic military-inspired cold-weather apparel, drawing heavily from the bold silhouettes and exaggerated volumes of 1990s fashion. Crafted from luxurious materials such as leather, Mongolian wool, down, and shearling, the collection represents a fusion of functional design and contemporary fashion.
“I was thrilled to collaborate with close friends and the talented Moose Knuckles design team on this capsule collection. For me, outerwear transcends mere functionality—it’s an integral part of one’s style expression,” said Nazario.
“Growing up in New York City, spending time outdoors was a significant part of my life, and outerwear became a statement of my personal aesthetic. This collection draws inspiration from the coats that first made me feel truly sophisticated, blending Moose Knuckles’ roots in Canadian military apparel with exquisite craftsmanship and quality that discerning individuals will appreciate. The collection launches with a campaign shot by photographer Vito Fernicola and fronted by model Paloma Elsesser, a long-time advocate for body positivity and inclusivity. Paloma’s distinctive style and authenticity perfectly embody the bold, functional aesthetic of the capsule.
