A Merseyside shopping centre will go to auction with a guide price of £3m. The Cloisters Shopping Centre on Halsall Lane in Formby Village includes a Marks & Spencer food hall, nine shops (8 let, 1 under offer), a vacant former health centre over the entire first floor and large car park.
As well as M&S, the current tenants include Specsavers, Savers Health and Beauty, Oxfam and British Heart Foundation. The investment generates £332,859 in annual rent, with the potential to rise to £347,859.
About the auction, David Margolis of auctioneers Acuitus said: “Cloisters Shopping Centre offers a great investment opportunity, boasting a prime location in an affluent neighbourhood, a selection of well-known stores for its local residents, and a strong rental income to investors.”

The Acuitus auction will take place at 1pm on December 12 at 1pm and will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website with bidding online, by telephone and by proxy.
