A major UK airline has announced a new route to Greece from three major airports.
Jet2 will be offering three million seas across more than 100 routes to the holiday destinations, with 28 being exclusive to the airline.
The expansion in Greece includes Poros, Aegina and Leros, with flights to nearby the islands accessible from Manchester and Birmingham Airport.
The new routes will fly from Bournemouth, Bristol and London Luton Airport with the aim of 320 weekly flights to 14 Greek airports.
Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “We are experiencing fantastic demand for Greek holidays from customers and independent travel agents.
“We are investing considerably into expanding our Greek operations whilst working with our hotel and industry partners to make sure that we boost awareness, fill hotels, and create the best holiday memories.
“We look forward to another year of bringing happy holidaymakers to this fantastic destination.”
The recent announcement follows news from Jet2.com and Jet2holidays on its Summer Sun programme from Leeds Bradford Airport for 2025.
The expansion will see the UK’s largest tour operator increase capacity across Spain, Portugal, Greece, Bulgaria, and Italy routes.
