Sainsbury’s customers have been left in the dark after the supermarket delivery service went down in the UK.
Shoppers reported problems with the supermarket’s order tracking today.
The outage reportedly happened at around 6am, online tracker Downdetector shows.
Customers said on social media their orders that were due for delivery this morning never arrived.
Mike Cowan said on X, formally known as Twitter: ‘I’ve been on hold for 30 minutes to speak to a customer service agent. I’d like to know where my order is as I’ve not received my receipt and it should have been delivered by now.’
Sainsbury’s warned it is ‘experiencing some tech issues this morning, which is affecting a lot of orders.’
Downdetector recorded 82% more reports of problems with order tracking and some issues with Sainsbury’s website today.
A Sainsbury’s spokesperson said: ‘A small technical issue affected some groceries online orders this morning.
‘We have contacted these customers directly to apologise for the inconvenience.’
