From September 5 to 9, the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center will host a new edition of Maison & Objet, the premier event for home decor, design, and lifestyle. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the event is aiming to give two distinct identities to its September and January editions, with the goal of meeting the needs of visitors, 95% of whom are on the lookout for novel ideas.
“We are enhancing the unique attributes of each of our two editions to offer an even more specialized approach. By refining our ‘in’, ‘off’, and ‘online’ offerings, we aim to provide a tailored choice to every participant within the home decor, design, and lifestyle community according to their specific needs,” said Mélanie Leroy, general director of SAFI (owner of Maison&Objet, MOM, and Paris Design Week).
The September edition will feature nearly 2,300 brands across 15 sectors including Fashion Accessories, showcasing over 200 labels such as Royal Mer, Emoi Emoi, Faguo, and Angarde. This iteration promises a spotlight on emerging design and new international profiles, thus reinforcing its role as a pivotal platform for unveiling emerging creative talents, supported by young designers and events held during Paris Design Week.
“This edition is pivotal for budding talents, particularly highlighted through programs like the Rising Talents Awards, as well as for designers and brands making their debut, positioning themselves at the forefront of optimum commercial opportunities,” highlighted the organizers. Notably, Cook & Share, the area devoted to culinary and dining innovations, will henceforth only be featured in September, accompanied by increased investment and an enriched schedule of events.
Meanwhile, the January edition will prioritise premium curation, limited editions, and specially tailored events focused predominantly on the luxury hospitality industry. The January edition will also expand its offerings in the fashion and lifestyle sectors, as the fair strives to adapt to the industry’s quest for innovative growth strategies.
Furthermore, Maison & Objet is introducing Women&Design by Maison&Objet, a new network aimed at ensuring female representation globally within the design and lifestyle sectors. The initial framework of this initiative will be unveiled on September 5, marking the opening day of the exhibition.
