Keeping abreast of real-time visitor numbers is hugely important for shopping centre operators. So Liverpool One’s 2.5 million sq ft estate is harnessing MRI Software’s AI-driven ‘Footfall Analytics’ to do just that.
The central Liverpool retail and entertainment destination is implementing the system to track and leverage real-time footfall data, “positioning the retail destination for success as the Golden Quarter approaches”.
Iain Finlayson, Estate director, said: “Collaborating with MRI Software is key to our ongoing commitment to innovation and growth. With footfall data and insights at our fingertips, we will better understand the needs of our visitors, optimise our operations, and continue to provide a meaningful contribution to the city of Liverpool.”
He added: “The technology will not only improve our ability to adapt to market trends but also strengthen our position as a forward-thinking retail destination, ensuring we remain vibrant for years to come.”
Jon Burnett, UK Sales Director, MRI Software, added: “This partnership is a game-changer, not just for Liverpool One but for the entire city because it expands on existing footfall data from multiple retail locations and in the city centre itself.
“The ability to tap into AI-driven data will redefine how the estate understands visitor behaviour, making data-backed decisions that will shape future growth.”
