The Kentucky Wildcats are on the board again, and boy, is this a big get.
On Thursday, it was reported that Kentucky had reached out to San Diego State transfer Lamont Butler.
Now, Butler is a Cat, according to KSR’s Matt Jones.

This past season, Butler averaged 9.3 points (42.1% shooting and 30.2% on 3-pointers), 3.0 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 27.6 minutes per game. Known as an elite defender, Butler is a three-time member of the Mountain West All-Defensive Team and was named the 2023-24 Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year.
