Koby Brea won’t visit Kentucky
It appears the Kentucky Wildcats are out for Koby Brea.
When the Dayton wing first entered the portal, Kentucky was among the many schools to reach out and even made his top-five list.
However, Brea won’t be visiting Kentucky, which likely means the Cats are out. He’s currently set to only visit UConn and Duke Blue Devils, according to On3’s Jamie Shaw.
North Carolina and Kansas were the other finalists, but their rosters are pretty crowded now, so it makes sense that they’re seemingly out as well.
The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Brea will be a fifth-year senior in the 2024-25 season, his final year of eligibility. The New York product is coming off a season in which he was arguably the best 3-point shooter in college basketball, knocking down 49.8% of his 3-pointers on six attempts per game. He averaged 11.1 points (51% shooting from the field) with 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest.
Thankfully, Kentucky still has plenty of options to work with, several of which are set to visit Lexington this weekend.
