The Kentucky Wildcats have been bitten by the injury bug quite a bit this year. With Kerr Kriisa sidelined in the non-conference schedule, followed by Andrew Carr, Lamont Butler, and Jaxson Robinson, all of the BBN is wondering how we reverse the injury curse that seems to be hanging over the program.
At the moment, Butler and Carr seem to be inching closer to 100%, but Robinson is now likely out this week.
Another question still remains regarding the status of Kriisa for the remainder of this season.
After some Twitter speculation on Monday, Mark Pope was asked about his availability going forward, and the UK head coach did not have an optimistic response.
The phrase he used is “still a ways away” when talking about Kriisa, which sounds like it won’t be anytime soon.

That has led many to wonder if we will see Kriisa apply for a medical redshirt. That we still don’t have an answer to.
Now, the waiting game continues to see if the talented guard will take the floor for the Cats again this season.
