The Kentucky Wildcats are in the midst of one of the biggest roster overhauls the program has ever seen.
That’s to be expected when you change head coaches, especially with one like John Calipari, who typically recruited players who spent no more than 1-2 years in Lexington.
Calipari left for Arkansas, and he was quickly replaced with BYU Cougars coach Mark Pope.
Now, Coach Pope is frantically working to fill out the roster ahead of his debut season as the Kentucky Basketball coach. He will very likely build a roster full of college transfers mixed in with a couple of high school recruits.
Because the NCAA’s NBA Draft withdrawal deadline isn’t until May 29th, we could see roster additions being made all the way into June.
Buckle up, BBN. We’re in for quite the ride on the road to building the 2024-25 Kentucky Basketball roster.
