Accenture has appointed Jonathan Keane as the head of its strategy and consulting business across the UK, Ireland and Africa. He has spent more than 16 years with the firm.
Commenting on the news, Shaheen Sayed, Accenture’s head of UK, Ireland and Africa, said, “I am delighted to announce Jonathan Keane’s appointment as strategy and consulting lead for Accenture in the UK, Ireland and Africa. Jonathan brings a broad depth of industry knowledge and a wealth of experience in large-scale business and technology transformation. I wish him every success in this new role.”
Accenture’s strategy and consulting wing combines the firm’s industry expertise, analytics capabilities and human-led design methodologies to enable clients to act with speed and confidence. Looking ahead, Keane will help expand the practice across the UK, Ireland and Africa region.
He brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, including two spells at Accenture totalling 16 years. This was intersected by nine years with Oliver Wyman, where he was global aviation and hospitality lead and London office head.
Keane presently leads Accenture’s global luminary network – a group of senior external advisors, including global Chairs and CEOs, that work with Accenture and its clients to architect and accelerate reinvention. He previously also led Accenture’s global aviation practice and the UK and Ireland Strategy business from 2021.
Keane added, “Accenture has an exceptionally talented strategy and consulting team in the UK, Ireland and Africa focused on architecting and accelerating reinvention for our clients. I look forward to working with that team and our ecosystem partners to create value for our clients as they navigate a rapidly changing world.”
