Jayden Quaintance will not be following John Calipari to the Arkansas Razorbacks.
According to 247 Sports’ Eric Bossi, Arkansas has been cut from contention. That means the former Kentucky Wildcats signee will not be in Fayetteville next season.
It’s safe to call this an upset, as many envisioned that the 5-star center would land at Arkansas once Calipari was named the Razorbacks’ head coach. After all, Calipari landed him once, and it’s no secret that Arkansas has a massive NIL commitment, so one would think they’re prepared to top any NIL offer made for the top-10 prospect.
Now, the question becomes where Quaintance will ultimately land. He’s coming off a visit with the Louisville Cardinals and was set to host Mark Pope for an in-home visit on Tuesday. Quaintance is planning to visit the Memphis Tigers this week as well.
However, Quaintance has since canceled his in-home visit with Pope. It’s unclear if it will be rescheduled.
