Burnley have completed the loan signing of Bournemouth winger Jaidon Anthony on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old was a key player for Clarets manager Scott Parker when he took the Cherries into the Premier League in the 2021-22 season, and links up again with his former boss at Turf Moor.
Anthony also figured regularly in Bournemouth’s first Premier League campaign, making 30 appearances, but he spent last season on loan in the Championship at Leeds United, helping the Yorkshire club to the play-off final.
Anthony is a product of the Arsenal youth system but moved to Bournemouth in 2020 without playing a first-team game for the Gunners.
Anthony told the Burnley website, external: “The manager had a massive influence on me coming here, I had a great year under him, and we have some great memories from our time together.
“We got promoted from this league and he put a lot of trust in me, it was good to give it back and hopefully we can create a lot more memories now at Burnley.”
