Ipswich have agreed a deal to sign forward Jack Clarke from Sunderland for an initial fee of £15m, plus £5m in potential add-ons.
The 23-year-old, who has scored 27 goals in 94 appearances for the Black Cats since signing permanently from Tottenham, is set to have a medical with the Tractor Boys on Friday.
Clarke would become Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna’s 10th signing of the summer.
York-born Clarke climbed through the youth ranks at Leeds where he made 25 first-team appearances, scoring two goals.
He joined Spurs in July 2019 but struggled to establish himself and had spells out on loan at QPR, Stoke and Sunderland.
Clarke has been capped six times by England at under-20 level.
