Europe boasts a number of beautiful countries, each having their own unique cultures and traditions that make them all individually special. The continent is home to some of the most visited countries in the world as well as hidden gems that many people are yet to visit.

However, there’s someone who’s experienced it all. This world traveller from Arizona has visited single European country and has shared with his over five million YouTube subscribers which European country he thinks is the best.

Drew Binksy, who creates social media content about his travel experiences, created a video where he ranked every single European country from his favourite to least favourite.

He began the video with sharing that he’s “been to all 50 countries around, most of them three or more times.”

The criteria of the video creator’s ranking included friendliness, affordability, cuisine, nightlife, natural beauty, historical wonders and “the abilitiy of not having to go out your way to have a natural authentic experience,” which he described as the most important factor.

So according to the travel expert, which is the best European country to visit? 

Drew revealed that Czech Republic, renowned for its art scene, was top of his list. Filming the video from Old Town Square in Prague, he described it as his “favourite place on the planet.”

He continued: “Look at this, it’s so beautiful. Medieval architecture, incredible churches, the oldest functioning astronomical clock tower in the world and it just doesn’t get any better than this. Even though I spent a year of my life in this city, I still get goosebumps every time I’m here.”

The country located in Central Europe, has a great blend of both eastern and western Europe, which is one of the aspects Drew mentioned when revealling why he loves the country.

It is also much cheaper than Western Europe and boasts a number of beautiful parks, bars, and cafes according the video.

Additionally, it is “great for night life” whilst also being a family-friendly destination.

Comparing Prague to other cities such as Paris and Barcelona, Drew mentioned that the Czech Republic’s capital in terms of pickpocketting is “pretty minimal,” as he branded the city as much safer than others in the continent.

While there are many good qualities that the traveller has to say about the Czech Republic, what he shared he isn’t too keen on his the cuisine of “heavy meats, potatoes and sour cabbage”.

However, he quickly reminded his viewers that “you don’t come here for the food you come for the fun, the beautiful atmosphere, relaxing vibes of Czech Republic.”
