The Martin Carpena Arena in Malaga, Spain is all set to host the Billie Jean King Cup Finals that starts on Wednesday.
The 12 best international teams in women’s tennis will compete in a knockout format for the top prize in a tournament considered the World Cup of Tennis.
Great Britain, led by Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu, play their first round tie against Germany. The winning team from that tie books a spot in the quarterfinal, where they will face defending champions Canada, who were handed a bye in the first round.

Australia has also been handed a bye, and will take on the winner of the first round tie between Slovakia and the United States.
In the lower half of the draw, hosts Spain take on the Iga Swiatek-led Poland in the first round, with the winner facing Czechia in the quarterfinal.
Last year’s runners-up Italy have also been handed a bye. The Italians will face the winner of the tie between Japan and Romania in the quarterfinal.
Great Britain has never won the title, but reached the final four times – the last at the 1981 edition. Meanwhile, USA is the most successful team with 18 titles to their name, with their last title coming in 2017.

The Billie Jean King Cup Finals begins on Wednesday, November 13 and runs until Wednesday, November 20 – culminating with the final.

Most ties begin at 5:00 p.m local time (CET), which translates to 4:00 p.m. onward in the UK (GMT).
On days where there are multiple ties being played, in the first round and quarterfinal stages, matches will start at 10:00 a.m. local time, which is 9:00 a.m. in the UK (GMT).
The first semifinal on November 18 will take place at 5:00 p.m. in Malaga, or 4:00 p.m. in the UK. The second semifinal will take place on November 19 at 12:00 p.m. local time or 11:00 a.m. GMT.
The final on November 20 begins at 5:00 p.m. local time, or 4:00 p.m. in the UK (GMT).
