GAINESVILLE, FL (WYMT) – No. 15 UK came into Gainesville, Florida and dominated the Gators from the opening tip-off, 71-55.
Kentucky shot 50% from the field early on and ended the first quarter with a 10-point lead, 20-10.
Georgia Amoore’s 14 points in the first half helped the Cats grow their lead to 41-19 by the halftime break.
Amoore finished with 18 points, four steals, four assists, and five rebounds. Dazia Lawrence and Clara Strack also ended the night in double figures.
