Carr joins Coventry from Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he was individual development coach, and also worked for the Republic of Ireland Women’s team.
Viveash had been Robins’ number two throughout his second spell at the club from 2017.
A club statement said: “Coventry City would like to put on record its thanks to Adi for the last seven years of service to the Sky Blues and the role that he has played in our achievements over that time, including promotion from League Two to the Championship.”
Coventry finished ninth in the Championship last season, having reached the play-off final in 2022-23, only to lose to Luton Town on penalties at Wembley.
