Ben Obese-Jecty, in collaboration, with the Department for Education, is hosting the fair at the Burgess Hall in St Ives on February 13.
The event, which runs from 10am to 2pm, will give locals a chance to explore the “many employment opportunities” across the constituency.
Mr Obese-Jecty said: “I’m very pleased to announce my first jobs fair, taking place next week in St. Ives. Huntingdonshire is a fantastic area with a vast range of employers.
“The aim of this jobs fair is to ensure everybody, whether they are between jobs, have just left full-time education, are looking to return to the workforce or are simply looking for a change of career, can find the employment opportunities that fit them.”
“With the region witnessing rapid growth and new businesses emerging, this is a fantastic time to embark on a new career path. The event welcomes everyone —regardless of their background, experience, or reasons for job hunting.”
The event, which marks the beginning of an annual event showcasing jobs available in Huntingdon and St Ives, will offer opportunities to connect with local and national employers from a range of industries.
