British fashion brand ME+EM is ending the year as it began, with another US store opening.
NorthPark Center in Dallas, Texas becomes the brand’s fourth Stateside store in 2024 after openings on New York’s Madison Avenue, Mercer Street and on East Hampton’s Newtown Lane, which opened in the spring.
The Dallas store, which spans over 2,245 sq ft, is situated on the entrance floor of the prestigious NorthPark Center.
Designed in collaboration with American architecture and interior design firm Janson Scuro, the store pairs “British craftsmanship with American design sensibility” to mirror ME+EM’s ethos of “texture clashing and hi-low styling”.
The new Dallas store will feature curated monthly edits, which, for December, include 100% silk dresses, cashmere knitwear, the label’s side stripe trousers and the season’s first arrival of cheesecloth vacation-wear.
Founded by former advertising executive Clare Hornby in 2009, the brand is known for a style that “builds on the understanding that modern women shouldn’t have to choose between quality and cost or between style and functionality.”
Since the launch of its US e-commerce site in 2019, ME+EM said it has now grown a strong local community via those first three New York stores.
Hornby said earlier in the year: “Since our online launch in the US we’ve seen really exciting growth in the market.
“Like everything we do at ME+EM our customer has been front and centre of our strategy. Finding physical homes in the US has been a long-term goal.”
