Kentucky Wildcats, both new and old, made an appearance at Kroger Field Saturday.
It didn’t matter if your sport was football or basketball, as players from both sports took to Kroger Field to watch the team throttled Southern Miss in their season-opening battle. Despite a delay, the Cats ended up winning 31-0, putting on a show for the fans.
Players like Jacksonville Jaguars star Josh Allen, New York Giants wideout Wan’Dale Robinson, and Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Will Levis were in attendance as well as many of the basketball that head coach Mark Pope was able to bring for this upcoming season.
It wasn’t just the former Cats in the NFL who showed up; the basketball players, who will be having their own games in the coming months, also made an appearance. Support for BBN is as high as it has ever been.
It wasn’t just secluded to players, as the Cats’ new head coach, Mark Pope received love as well while searching for new commitment Malachi Moreno in the crowd.
All in all, it was a great way for the Cats to kick off the 2024 season. Here’s to hoping for plenty more of it!
