Fifteen England fans were arrested at the Euro 2024 semi-final against the Netherlands on Wednesday, UK police have confirmed.
About 25,000 England supporters were at the match in Dortmund, with the vast majority described as “well behaved”.
Before the game, five people suffered minor injuries when England fans were attacked by Netherlands supporters in the town centre.
In a statement, UK police – who were in Germany to work alongside local police – said the trouble was dealt with effectively by German law enforcement with the support of their officers.
UK police added there were no serious incidents reported after the match.
England beat the Netherlands 2-1 and will face Spain in the final on Sunday in Berlin (kick-off 20:00 BST).
