Today marks Dior’s latest foray into the documentary world, as the French luxury fashion house unveils Dior in Scotland, a film capturing the collaborative journey which culminated in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s 2025 Cruise Collection. The project traces the influences of Scotland’s heritage, from its historical tartan to royal legacies, while traversing its rugged and wildly beautiful terrain, to explore the deeply entwined relationship of fashion with the fabric of Scotland’s landscape and culture.
The result is an genuine feat of storytelling. The documentary opens up the complexities of creating the luxury cruise collection, which sought to authentically celebrate the rich tapestry of a country steeped in history and traditions.
