UK digital department store Debenhams is to be the exclusive Retail Partner for The Beauty Awards 2024, to held on 25 November.
That means Debenhams will be the sole online beauty retailer featured for the event that will take place at the historic Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) venue in London.
Debenhams said the collaboration is driven by a shared purpose “to recognise and commend outstanding beauty products and brands that boost confidence, support skin health, and enhance well-being by pushing the boundaries of science and creativity”.
Alongside host Michelle Visage of RuPaul’s Drag Race, The Beauty Awards’ judges will include Millie Kendall, CEO of the British Beauty Council; Dr Ateh Jewel, Beauty Journalist and Diversity Advocate; Dominic Skinner, Debenhams MAC ambassador; Caroline Hirons, Skincare Expert and Author; and Lisa Oxenham, Beauty and Style Director at Marie Claire.
Alexandra Scolding, Beauty Director at Debenhams, said: “The collaboration is a great way for us to stay connected with our amazing customers and show how dedicated we are to bringing them incredible beauty products that everyone loves.”
This is the latest 2024 promotion platform for Debenhams, which has been keen to expand its consumer profile. In the spring, Debenhams launched its ‘Generation Beauty’ campaign “designed to celebrate beauty that transcends age”, bringing together models and influencers from different generations to promote a message of “inclusivity, self-acceptance, and empowerment”.
