Date for Big Blue Madness announced
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) – Big Blue Madness will take place on Friday, Oct. 11, officials with the University of Kentucky announced Monday.
The event, which serves as the annual tip-off to the basketball season for the men’s and women’s teams, will take place inside Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center at 7 p.m.
Officials said tickets will be free to the public once again.
Due to ongoing renovations at Memorial Coliseum, there will be no in-person ticket distribution.
Tickets for the event will be distributed exclusively online at Ticketmaster’s website and through the Ticketmaster app, starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
