A DAD is pushing a shopping trolley hundreds of miles to Land’s End to raise cash for charity.
Perry Scopes, 38, set off on January 3.
He picked up the B&M trolley in Beckton, East London, just hours after leaving Grays, Essex.
Ice cream man Perry has named it Bruce and is using it to carry his belongings to Cornwall.
The dad of one said: “We’re marching on, me and Bruce against the world!
“Of course he has been borrowed but I’ll take him back.
“I know I look like a madman but as soon as people know what I’m doing, they’re supportive.”
Perry has already made £10,000 for special school Treetops.
He expects to finish the 315-mile trek in three weeks, walking for seven hours a day.
Pal Faye Barnard said: “I hope he reaches £50,000.”
Perry’s fundraising page can be found here.
